I have been working from some photographs sent by two pregnant cousins who were not able to be together whilst they were pregnant over the first lock down. It has taken me a while to decide how to work on these two as I wanted both women on the same page but didn't want the tp feel like they were on the same plane. I have begun to include colour again in all that I'm doing as this feels more like I'm expressing things as myself. over the last few months since the MA has finished the determination has been there to paint fearlessly and as my self. In the last three years I have taken my practice apart but this way of working now feels certain and sure. I'm enjoying the mix up of materials. The important thing going forwards will be to keep this simplicity.
