It has been hard to be apart from the children. To only be able to zoom or messenger call. These paintings have been made as a result of drawing while we are talking. We have done a number of calls in which we have done some art together. This painting is developed form some of these sessions and remembering messenger calls. Our son and daughter in law are expecting a baby in April and this drawing is titled Waiting for April.
This is the beginning drawing exploring the space, colour and composition.I have worked on the faces from memory. they are drawn as single line drawings. They aim to show the character of each person. I have drawn the screens as formless and empty at present. I haven't fully decided how they will be resolved.
