Day one of the Appledore Book Festival. I have been drawing in some of the talks and helping to hang the ArtMakers Exhibition. Now a quiet moment in the sunshine to paint. It was so windy I needed a place to be out of the wind so I tucked myself on the beach by the sea wall. It was good to be a bit playful with colour here and capture the colour of the sea in the sunlight.
