Bucks Mills - 22/08/2022

Day one of my Bucks Mills artist and residency for the National Trust. Such an inspiring place to be. I’m so looking forward to spending the next 6 days exploring this location that so inspired Judith Ackland and Mary Stella Edwards. I’m very grateful to be able to use their wonderful artist retreat. 
Today was a day of all the weathers! Brilliantly there were moments of sunshine without rain that coincided with the photo shoot for Devon Life Magazine… (look out for the November issue) and while I was painting.
