Dunsland - 5/04/2022

Imagine a garden, cultivated for over 900 years surrounding a stately home handed down through the line of one family for all those centuries, then imagine that garden of the house had burned down over 50 years ago, just as the National Trust had completed a 13-year restoration. This is Dunsland the place we painted in today. Beautiful, rambling in the truest sense and still somehow a grand parkland. Good to see such a bank of daffodils.
