Exmoor View of Dunkery - 9/12/2022

Friday saw Kathryn Timms and I heading to a location we had spotted when we had gone to paint from Dunkery Beacon. We drove home a different way and found this amazing road with views of Dunkery and views so far-reaching we could see Wales. The light was perfect. At one point Kathryn had to take the car and find a signal to make a phone call and I was alone on the moor. It was amazing and so quiet. Think people driving by wondered how the heck I’d got there with all my painting kit! As we arrived we had been treated to a great show from a herd of deer complete with a magnificent stag! Another final one of the year. The 12th Exmoor painting!
