Golden Hour in a Harvested Field, Bideford - 14/08/2022

I wanted to catch the golden hour and it was glorious when I first arrived and then disappeared but I waited and the light went back to golden in the end… I wanted to paint a field that had been recently harvested and had all the colours of this time of year, the grasses at the edge of the field were all dried and similar colours to the field. The light and colours were really enjoyable. There were cows in the field next to me and they had lots to say I think they wondered what I was doing…
