Little America layby - 21/01/2022

We arrived in time to catch the minty green colour of the frosty field. This lay-by has been catching my eye for a while. I think it might be called little America and is where quite a lot of people head with sup boards and canoes etc into the Torridge River. I will defo be heading back here to paint again. Loved Caroline Lumb’s beautiful work, it’s inspiring me to be looser with my mark making and more abstracted.
