Simonsbath, Exmoor - 13/09/2022

This is the first time I have used my pod to paint in. When I’ve tried to use it before it’s been too windy but it was perfect for sitting on Exmoor in the pouring rain. There was no wind. I’ve painted in this location before and it was a bit wet and windy in April too! I enjoyed finding the minty muted colours and keeping things expressive still. This is so hard to do, much harder than realised and is possibly why it’s taken me so long to get to this point. No turning back now though I hope!
