The Cabin, Bucks Mills - 23/08/2022

Today I wanted to paint the cabin and the distant view of Hartland. It’s been such a  good day, I started by taking my sketchbook down onto the beach and experimenting with different materials. It was supposed to be a bit wet today but it was dry all day and sometimes sunny. I’ve done some walking along the coastal path to find other views to work with tomorrow. It’s just so enjoyable to be doing this residency.
