Hollyhocks

This work is inspired by the summer garden. The bright colours of joy of seeing bobbing Hollyhocks in the gardens all around Devon where I live. It is a favourite here. I use watercolour expressively and want to show the flow and wetness of the material. I love to let the colour splash, flick and run.
