I was in the Tree tunnel at Tapeley Park. I spotted it on Wednesday and thought it might be a good place to paint when it’s raining and planned to go back on Friday as rain was predicted! It was a good plan! It’s a magical place to paint. The light was great even though the skies were grey. Annette Maddison tells me it’s called an Ilex tunnel and was designed so couples could secretly meet! It must have some tales to tell!!
